For those of you that know me, you know that fitness is a big deal to me. I have worked really hard to make sure that I integrate healthy habits into my life, and that I share what I know with others. Working as a personal trainer has given me an amazing opportunity to be a part of someone's journey and to help them achieve their goals. I have realized that most of us carry around a good 5lbs of self doubt, worry, and stress!! Now, we might not physically carry those pounds but they do weigh us down. It's important to find your inner peace, your self worth, your value, and your purpose. Once you are in tune with that part of your being....working out and making a lifestyle change becomes easier. So here's the secret: 5 easy steps to shed those pesky 5 lbs in less than 5 minutes. 1. Look yourself in the mirror and say....Self! you are super dope! You are important and you are loved! 2. Remind yourself that you had a purpose long before anyone had an opinion. 3. Shed the envy of others possessions or of their lives. Comparison is the thief of joy! 4. Believe that your purpose on this Earth is for a wonderful reason. Your journey is all yours and your purpose is divine. 5. Lastly, remember that Dr. Seuss has always had it right. He wrote it best when he said...Today you are you and that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you! See, I told you that you could lose 5lbs just like that. Now go look in the mirror and blow yourself a kiss you hottie. You are worth every positive thing in the world. #LYLO

So here I am!!!!! It's sharing time!!! I am finally starting my blog. It took me a while to decide to do this, but after my daughter pooped and took off her diaper, I realized I needed to vent more now than ever! Since I spend hours at night scrolling through Pinterest, I figured I could use some of that time to dedicate to my blog. But don't get it twisted, I will be on Pinterest as soon as I finish this, I need to find a farmhouse table! LOL! See! I'm random! So my blog will probably be like the Seinfeld show of blogs, a blog about everything and nothing at the same time.
A little snippet about lil ol me....I was active duty Air Force, Air Force reserves, and even the interim CEO of a company in my civilian life (there's a lot to that story too, but i'll share that later) So, stuff changes and now I am a stay at home mom, but I run a personal training business from a converted space in my home. I'm not going to lie though, its not easy! For anyone that thinks stay at home moms just get their nails done, watch basketball wives, and drink wine all day, wait, i do all of those things! LOL hmmmmm...well aside from all of that, stay at home mom life is not easy! Im about to see if i can get a law passed to pay stay at home moms 1 million dollars a year...totally valid request right!? Well, Im not going to type a novel for this post, but be prepared for lots of great stuff in future blogs. We are going to talk about about kids, life, marriage, love, fitness, and all of the things I deal with daily. We will even have some guest posts too! I know we all have tons of stuff going on and I think its great to share. You never know how your story can impact someone! I can't wait to see what random things I can tell you all about tomorrow!
